Hello Promise Academy II High School Parents,

As we come to the end of the school year and our students move one year closer to high school graduation. Thinking of ways to pay for college becomes more immediate. I want to inform you of a free workshop for parents of students in the 10th to 12th grade. This workshop will be held on Tuesday 
June 14, 2016 from 6-8:00pm at Touro College 230 West 125th Street # 1, New York, NY 10027. For further information or to RSVP see the attached flier.

On Tuesday April 5th, Wednesday April 6th and Thursday April 7th, 2016. The 9th and 10th grade students will be attending college tours, we want to give our students every opportunity to visit colleges and universities to expand their views of higher education. The 9th graders will be going to Queens College, Rutgers University and Princeton University. The 10th graders will be going to Montclair University, Yale University and Princeton University.

Hello PAII High School parents, 
Promise Academy II High School has been increasing college and career exposure for our students. The Harlem Children's Zone Career Services Team has invited our juniors who are interested in business to attend a special symposium called Professionals of Color in Business. This event will be held during the mid-winter recess break on, Thursday February 18, 2016. The symposium hours are from 10:00AM - 1:00PM. Juniors must be registered for this event.  Parents you can contact the guidance office for more details.        

Saving & Paying for College !!!

Hello PA II High School Parents, On Tuesday December 8 & Wednesday December 9, 2015 from 5:30 - 7:30PM, there will be a workshop on saving and paying for college; this workshop will be held at Booker T. Washington school located at 103 west 107th street, NY, NY 10025. Parents it is never to early or late to begin saving for your child's future. For further details please view attached file.

SAT Diagnostic Exam!

Hello Promise Academy II High School Parents, 

On Saturday November 14, 2015, Our Entire 11th grade will be taking the SAT Diagnostic Exam, it is crucial that all of our 11th graders come and take the exam. The data collected from the exam will allow the SAT tutor to focus on deficient areas. Parents please make sure that your child attends we want to make sure our students have the best start possible as we approach the SAT Exam in Early Spring of 2016. Students should arrive at PA II High School by 8:30 am they will be dismissed by 1:00 pm. 

1st Annual HCZ College Fair

On Tuesday October 13, 2015 our Promise Academy II High School freshman female students will be attending a special tour of Stony Brook University's Engineering Program. This tour is geared towards sparking interest in engineering in young women. Historically engineering, math and science were male dominated fields but it is time for that to change.
